Armstrong man faces 50 years for providing fentanyl-laced drugs

An Armstrong County man faces up to 50 years in prison after being convicted of providing a fatal dose of fentanyl-laced cocaine that killed another man in 2020, state Attorney General Michelle Henry announced Friday, Sep. 20.

Nathan Wolfe, 41, of Kittanning, was convicted at trial in July of third-degree murder, drug delivery resulting in death, aggravated assault, involuntary manslaughter and related offenses.

According to the state Attorney General’s office, Wolfe provided crack cocaine, laced with fentanyl, to Eric McMillen, 43, in exchange for the use of McMillen's vehicle.

Police determined at least two other nonfatal overdoses occurred in connection to the fentanyl-laced cocaine, which Wolfe distributed to others. Wolfe was also found guilty of delivering the same drugs to those two individuals on the same day in February of 2020, according to the state Attorney General’s office.

The case was prosecuted by Senior Deputy Attorney General Evan Lowry and Deputy Attorney General Daniel Gleixner.
