Glade Run Lutheran Services has received a three-year accreditation from CARF International, the accrediting nonprofit announced Thursday.

Organizations that receive the highest level of accreditation undergo a peer-review process. During an-on site visit by surveyors, they must demonstrate commitment to offering programs and services that are measurable, accountable, and of the highest quality.

According to Glade Run President and CEO Steven Green, accreditation is not mandated and has been a goal of the organization for the last five years.

“We collectively felt this voluntary accreditation would continue to drive us towards excellence and enable us to better serve those in our care,” Green said. “We add this CARF accreditation to our current Sanctuary Certification and PBIS accomplishments as evidence of the quality programming we deliver to children, adults and families in our region.”
