With the holidays approaching, Cranberry Township is inviting residents to donate to the Cranberry Township Community Chest’s Project of the Year, the Armstrong Great Lawn at the township municipal building.

There are four tiers of donation, and each one offers perks. The Friend level is for any donation up to $999, and entitles the donor to having their name placed in the program for the grand opening and on the community chest’s website.

The Supporter level is for donations of $1,000 to $2,499, the Partner level is for donations of $2,500 to $4,999 and the Leader level is for donations of $5,000 and more. In addition to the perks from the Friend level, each of the next three donation levels offers a plaque of varying size on the Donor Recognition Wall.

Supporter and higher donations must be received by Dec. 31 to receive a plaque.

The Great Lawn, which held its ribbon cutting Nov. 30, is set to open in May.
