The Lutheran SeniorLife Passavant Community glowed with holiday cheer on Saturday, Dec. 7, during its annual Abundant Lights Christmas Festival, a celebration meant to embody the spirit of giving.

The festival featured live performances, a petting zoo, children’s activities and festive wagon rides. The festivities kicked off with a 5K and 1-mile fun run and walk, which drew a crowd of 90 people and raised money for the Lutheran SeniorLife’s benevolent care fund.

Visitors had the opportunity to snack on the trays of homemade Christmas cookies, Amish doughnuts and other holiday treats while exploring a variety of local vendors offering handcrafted gifts. There was also a basket auction.
