Free legal clinic to take place Jan. 9

Neighborhood Legal Services, an organization that provides free legal services for civil issues, will host a walk-in legal clinic at its Butler office next month.

The clinic will take place from 9:30 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 9 at Holly Pointe Building, 220 S. Main St., Suite 306, for services related to expungements, record sealing and pardons.

The clinic is a joint project with the University of Pittsburgh School of Law for trained law students supervised by Butler County attorneys and Neighborhood Legal Services staff attorneys to provide free legal services to some of the most vulnerable people in Butler County, especially veterans.

Those interested can contact Neighborhood Legal Services to register in advance at nlsa.us/request-legal-help/ or by phone at 1-866-761-6572.
