Seneca Valley principal recognized as Pennsylvania Outstanding Assistant Principal at Monday meeting
JACKSON TWP – Haine Middle School assistant principal Jeremy Womer was recognized as 2025 Pennsylvania Outstanding Assistant Principal of the Year at a meeting Monday.
He was one of two staff members honored at the Seneca Valley School District’s regular Monday meeting.
“We’re delighted to have Mr. Womer represent our association and Pennsylvania,” said Eric Eshbach, of the Pennsylvania Principals Association. “He has a pride in his role and demonstrates his enthusiasm for his students and his fellow administrators. He affirms the values of every member of the administrative team and of the Seneca Valley School District.”
Paraprofessional Natasha Cumba-Gonzalez was then awarded the All-Star Award for February 2025. Cumba-Gonzalez also works at Haine and was presented her award by principal Erin Wilcher.
Wilcher called it a privilege to recognize Cumba-Gonzalez.
“She goes above and beyond in her own professional development and strives to support our students, including translating for those in need,” said Wilcher.
After the awards, the board approved a consultant agreement to provide psychological evaluation services for special and gifted evaluations and a grant disbursement in the amount of $12,132.86 for updates to the Ryan Gloyer Middle School Fitness Center.
The next Seneca Valley School District School Board meeting will be held on March 3 at the Intermediate High School auditorium.
