Dutilh Church in Cranberry Township, in cooperation with the American Red Cross, is hosting a blood drive from 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 18.

“Opening Dutilh’s doors for such a good cause is a wonderful way to help the community, while also inviting new people into our church home,” said Lori Sedlak, organizer of the blood drive, in a news release. Sedlak said her father had his life saved by a blood transfusion.

The church is aiming to collect at least 42 pints of blood, enough to potentially help more than 120 people. Limited appointments are available by signing up at redcrossblood.org.
