A portion of Interstate 79 closed Wednesday morning, April 2, following a crash where a triaxle truck overturned, according to the Harmony Fire District.

Both northbound lanes of the interstate were temporarily closed near its intersection with Little Creek Road in Jackson Township. Later, one of the lanes reopened while cleanup continued.

The crash was reported at about 8:50 a.m. near mile marker 88 on I-79 northbound.

A truck was observed on its side with its load of coal scattered across the interstate.
