The bridge replacement is expected to be completed in spring 2028, at a cost of $64.8 million.
PennDOT will also soon begin performing drainage upgrades on Route 228 between Middlesex and Adams townships starting Monday, April 14, as part of the Three Degree Road improvement project.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. from Monday, April 14 through Friday, April 18, and flaggers will control traffic.
The Three Degree Road project is expected to finish in November 2026, at a cost of $55.8 million.
