Through late June, Cranberry Township’s public works department will perform hydrant flushing at various sites around the township.

During a hydrant flushing, residents may notice or encounter discolored water or pressure fluctuations, which are normal during this operation. Residents are discouraged from using water during a flushing, if possible.

This week, hydrant flushing will take place at the following locations: at the Cranberry Crossroads shopping center near Best Western, on Old Mars Road from Cranberry Springs Drive to Franklin Road, at Cranberry Commons Mall, on Franklin Road from Old Mars Road to Beacon Hill Drive, on Thomson Park Drive, at Brandt Apartments, on Rochester Road from Graham School to Powell road, at Cranberry Corporate Center and at the Traditions of America community.
