Dutilh preschoolers ‘hop’ to give orphans hope
On Wednesday and Thursday, April 9-10, the preschool at Dutilh Church in Cranberry Township raised funds for the Home of Hope Orphanage in Nyadire, Zimbabwe, through its annual Hop for Hope event.
As of Wednesday, the church has raised $1,700 for the orphanage, which has seen enrollment rise from 20 children to 30 since November. The church is aiming to raise enough money to purchase a set of kitchen appliances and protective fencing for the orphanage.
