Cranberry Women’s Club hosts tea fundraiser
The Cranberry Women’s Club gathered April 12 at the Elks Lodge for its 26th annual Spring Tea fundraiser — an event filled with tea, treats and generosity. The tradition brought together members, friends and club supporters to raise funds for local charities, continuing the club’s legacy of giving back.
Each year, the club selects several local organizations to receive the proceeds from its fundraising efforts, and this year’s beneficiaries include Full Table Backpack Program, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Isaiah House 117, Cranberry Township EMS, Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company and Gleaners Food Bank.
Guests enjoyed scones, sandwiches and desserts while browsing a display of more than 40 themed gift baskets and door prizes donated by local businesses and club members.
“This is my favorite fundraiser that our club hosts, and I truly feel honored to have served as chairperson this year,” said Dana Veneziano, the club’s tea chairwoman. “Everything turned out beautifully.”
