Grove City College

High tuition costs, progressive indoctrination and weak academics are fueling society’s declining trust in higher education. Many students and parents are asking, “Should I expose myself or child to the financial and ideological risks of college when affordable job training is plentiful?”

“At Grove City College, we have a higher purpose for higher education.”

Faith, Hope and Love

The higher purpose of higher education is not just pursuing knowledge, but also seeking wisdom rooted in unshakable virtues. Historically, higher education’s aim was to produce virtuous individuals who desired to develop and serve just societies. Christian civilization added the theological virtues of faith, hope and love — or spiritual formation — to higher education’s character formation priority.

Joy

Professing that God is the source of identity and that Jesus Christ the Creator is the source of all knowledge, a challenging Christian college education produces wisdom, exhilarating studies and meaningful job opportunities. Students experience joy as they commune with God in their studies and their friends following the same academic path.

The Good Way

In short, choosing an educational path to pursue Christian wisdom produces a lifelong source of joy.

For 150 years, Grove City College has cultivated this higher purpose for higher education. Thus says the Lord: “Stand by the roads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, where the good ways is, and walk in it, and find rest for your souls.”

“We invite you to walk the good way at Grove City College.”
