Task force investigating assassination attempts schedules final hearing for Thursday

On Thursday, Dec. 5, the task force led by U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly, R-16th, to investigate the assassination attempts directed toward President-elect Donald Trump will hold one final hearing on the matter.

The Task Force on the Attempted Assassination of Donald J. Trump will question U.S. Secret Service Acting Director Ronald Rowe Jr. about the assassination attempts on Trump in Butler County, on July 13, and West Palm Beach, Fla., on Sept. 15.

The hearing, called Secret Service Security Failures and the Attempts to Assassinate President-Elect Donald J. Trump, is set to begin at 9:30 a.m. at 2141 Rayburn House Office Building, Washington, D.C.

A livestreamed option also will be available.

Following the hearing, the task force will hold a business meeting to consider its final report.
