Live Nativity scenes planned this month in Butler County
The following live Nativity scenes are among those planned for the Butler County area this December:
Concordia will host a live Nativity on Sunday, Dec. 8, in front of the Concordia at Cabot Haven II building, located at 148 Marwood Road, Cabot.
Performances will be about 15 minutes long and will be held at 4:30, 5:15 and 6 p.m. Between performances, guests can head inside for Christmas music, cookies and hot chocolate.
The event is free and open to the public. Parking will be available at Entrance 6 on Marwood Road.
Children 12 and younger also will receive a free gift, and children of all ages will have a chance to visit with Santa. Those who want a photo with Santa should bring their own cameras.
The Nixon United Methodist Church will host its annual drive-through live Nativity from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7th, and Sunday, Dec. 8th, at the church, 334 Airport Road.
Bradford Woods Community Church will host its annual Live Nativity at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, with three showings at 6, 6:25 and 6:50 p.m., at 4836 Wexford Run Road in Bradford Woods.
The event is free. Cookies and hot chocolate will be served between the showings. The event will feature children playing all roles.
A live Nativity will be included in Zelienople’s Miracle on Main Street, slated from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, in downtown Zelienople.
Also featured will be children’s activities, carriage rides, Santa Claus, strolling carolers and a holiday parade.
