Seneca Valley middle and high school students with visual impairments learned about fire safety in a hands-on program presented by the Cranberry Township Volunteer Fire Company on Tuesday, April 22, at the Seneca Valley Senior High School.
Organized by Ms. Jessica Sloan, Midwestern Intermediate Unit IV teacher of the visually impaired, this event was tailored to address both general and low-vision-specific fire safety practices.
This program offered students the chance to learn essential safety tips and practice using a fire extinguisher to put out a simulated fire.
